Candle Care
For best use, please follow the Candle Care instructions below:
- Trim the wick of your candle at least ¼ inch, after every use. This prevents uneven burning, also known as tunneling.
- Never leave a burning candle unattended.
- Never touch or move a candle or warmer, when the wax is liquafied. Please wait until it has completely cooled.
- Never burn a candle on or near anything that can catch fire.
- Keep candles out of the reach of children and pets.
- In the event, your candle’s flame becomes too high or begins to flicker continually, safely extinguish it. Allow it to cool and don’t forget to trim the wick, before relighting.
- If available, use a candle sniffer to extinguish your candle, as it’s the safest way to prevent hot wax from splattering.
- Make sure your candle is completely out, before leaving the room.
- Although, I want you to enjoy your Candlelight and You candle to the fullest, NEVER allow your candle to burn all the way down. As a safety precaution, allow at least 1/4 inch of wax to remain at the bottom
Honorable mention: (Because, I know someone will ask themselves the question.)
All of our candles here at Candlelight and You are made with 100% soy wax, so do not be alarmed, if there in an uneven or “lumpy” type texture after burning. It’s normal, when using soy wax in it’s purest form.
I hope you enjoy your candle as much as I enjoyed creating it.
